Every time you touch that bike, take a picture. I say this partly because it'll help with reassembly and in marking your progress through what can be a daunting task, but mainly because we like looking at bikes, and especially old bikes.

Also,, don't go crazy with the mods.. a untouched bike that 100% mechanical redone is worth a lot more $$$ and is sought after than one with heavy metal custom mods..
