I joined and was directed to stop by and introduce my self. Not that I am much on obeying", but since it is Harley, LOL!!
I am looking to start riding again. I have not rode in many years now. I was brought up riding and was married before getting a car, well, right before getting married, I needed a back seat, LOL! The bike seat worked for me, but you know girls When a bike is your transportation, you ride in the sun, in the rain, in the heat, in the cold, in the snow and in the ice, not because you have no choice, but because you do have a choice and 2 wheels was all I needed.
Well, forward 30+ years and now old and broken down, seriously, back was broke in 4 places. Was hit by the front end of an M113, but that is a different day. I tried to ride a year ago and just getting on and sitting was too much. Another year goes by and I am seriously wanting a bike and looking at a nice 2000 custom Fat Boy. Any thoughts on that bike..., ANYONE???

Welcome aboard, sure hope that Fat Boy works out if you get it. Some people can ride all day, but im sure theres a lot of people that neeed a few more breaks than others when riding. Im enjoying my 04 Sporty that Ive had for a couple of years. Im sure a few people will have something to say about your potential new ride.

Greetings & sorry to hear about your health woes. FB will be a tad rough on the back...have you considered a trike? Not trying to steer you away from 2-wheels, but trikes have decent suspension to soften the ride...less abusive to the spine.
Either way, welcome & let us know what you decide.
