Figured I would go ahead and introduce myself instead of lurking around here.
Bought myself a New Year's Eve Present in the form of a 2008 Heritage Classic here in Sarasota, FL.
Have put about 100 miles on in (was out of town for a week) getting used to the ride difference between it and my old Dyna - and I gotta say i'm really loving it. The wife is enjoying the extra room on the back and that the backrest isn't a constant shiatsu massage too.
Love some of the stuff I have read so far and it's about time to start making this bike my own! So bought my FP3 and a mount for my phone to get the ball rolling. Shopping the classifieds for a new AC - the bike already has some slip-ons and sounds nice. So i'm going to pause on the exhaust for now.
So I look forward to working with you guys and helping where I can.
Oh, and i'll apologize in advance: I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. So, excuse my ignorance if it shows. (for instance, the Sprocket post sticky intimidates the hell out of me - but doesn't mean I wont give it a swing!)
Here are some pictures: The bike did not come with the stock bags, but a set of toss-overs that were pretty beat up. Most of my riding is in town. But, I'm in the market for some bags!
