problems with my ultra
Hello, i have a 03 fuel injected ultra that has intermitnet idle problems.
After a good 100 mile ride the bike may decide not to idle.
It will start and run as long as you feather the throttle.
This is not the only problem.
The main fuse will pop at anytime the last time was at 70mph.
It disconnected for about 1 second and then right back on.
When exiting the hwy the idle was gone, had to \\;feather the throttle all the way home.
This seems to happen more when the bike has 2 up and when more accessories (lights, etc.) are being used.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Check the wires going to the fuel injector. If they are like my partners 02 they ran across the frame under the seat and were getting pinched causing a short. The Harley shop charged around $350. a $6.00 part the rest labor finding the problem. Seems his was the rear injector wires.
