Im 19 and an engineering undergrad here at UF under the Navy ROTC program. I drive a 1992 sportster 1200. I have a 1982 vette that ive been restoring as well. heres a photo of my bike.

Its had some work done to it, my dad owned it before me but he passed away two summers ago (he also owned the vette). I dont know all thats been done to it other than it has no gauges, no speedometer, tach, fuel gauge or turn signals. ( I use hand signals but i dont think half the world understands them anymore) I use it daily around town and have had no major issues with it. I love it and it has memories of my dad with it.

thanks all for the warm welcomes, sorry i made that last photo so large. I enjoy working on all things mechanical, but sometimes im not as sure about what to do with my bike as i am with my car when stuff acts up or maintenance wise so i searched out a forum and found this one!

thanks! yeah my GF is trying to transfer here to uf from unf, the whole budget cut thing is hurting a lot of applications. I hope he gets in i love it here! Where around lake Okeechobee are you from? Im originally from stuart and went to south fork high.
