Looking forward to joining up here after already receiving a lot of help just reading the forums. A little about me: 30+ years of BMWs and just bought Harley #1, maybe my last, I love it that much! 2008 RG, vivid black.
Been to most of the 50 states with UT, AZ, NM, TN and FL being favorites. But my favorite riding area is 12-month Northern California, where we live. Iron Butt Association member with a few 1500-in-one days, a 100CCC (coast-to-coast-to-coast in under 100 hours) and 2003 Iron Butt Rally license plate back.
Extracurriculars: Remodeling, cooking, traveling, helping with wife's eldercare business; the list's getting shorter, more focused.
Especially interested in outfitting the new bike for long-distance for myself and wife on pillion. Ergonomics are important, as well as tunes and keeping warm.
Anyways, glad to be here, and if I see the opportunity to contribute, I will!
Thanks,
Steve Brooks

There's just something about the Harley community. Plus, I was getting tired of the question when people found out that I rode, "What kind of bike do you have, a Harley?" Now I can proudly say yes!
