Magnetti Morelli
I live in the Houston area and have had my bike to a couple of the dealerships here and as of now it still rattles under throttle. I have put additive in it and used several different mfg of gasoline. I have addressed the all the factors they have said was the issue.
This is the third bike/motor combination I have had built like this so I'm up to speed on what the cause is and it is poor tuning. Everyone of the dealers wants to sell me a Power Commander, the other two bikes didn't need that. They both did fine with a Stage II download form H-D, Austin H-D did the last bikes and I can't say enough good about Troy Benedict and the tech Mike Prosser at that location. He built me a great motor, the same as I have now that can't be tuned correctly here. I do not want to take days off from work to tow to and from Austin, I would like to find a place here.
I know I ride an Evo, not the hot setup but I like the bike and just need a tuner.
The components added are for torque, it's a bagger and I ride two up and pull a trailer. This is a 1998 FLHTCUI 1340 box stock with the exceptions of
EV-27 Andrews cam
H-D adjustable push rods
SE 41% larger injectors(part of the SE II kit)
SE high flow and kit w/K&N filter
milled the heads 30 thousands inch
Reinhardt true duels
this is the same combination with the exception of the Andrews(comparable to the SE3 cam and the Reinhardt)everything else is the same.
Is anyone knowledgeable in the Houston area to tune this bike?
I will drive back to Austin if I need to; I would rather find someone here. Any help would be appreciated.

Magnetti Morelli says it all bro! Had the same FI unit on my 98 road King.... hate to say it but that is your problem right there! Never have I heard one to be trouble free, period! Poor response, erratic idle ... thank God Harley only used it for a few years!

Just turned 91,000 mies this past week, '00 FLTRSEI with the 95" Stage II MM injection...
No issues
On my 98 Ultra with MM injection, flowed heads, EV 3030 cam, AC and Pro Pipe, installed Power Commander and ran it for 65,000 miles. The factory downloads from HD didn't work for me.
