93 Softail back fires on dec. and cold blooded
I just purchased a 93 Softail the bike has a cam and stock carb.
the bike when warming up back fire when I give it gas and after having the choke on for five min I start to turn the choke off as it warms up then when I come to a stop it wants to die
sputtering and back firing wile riding until its warmed up
Then after bike warms up runs great accept it back fires on deceleration not sure how old gas is haven't checked plugs yet also when it idles its at a very low idle almost dying.

remove the carburetor bowl and give it a good cleaning with carb cleaner and compressed air make sure u clean the pilot jet.
