New Canadian Memeber (Ottawa)
I hope this doesn't post twice, the first time I got the "not logged in" error message. Anyway, here it goes.
My name is Jamie, I have been driving a "Hardley" Davidson (49cc Honda Jazz moped) for 10 years now, and as much as I wanted or in some ways felt that I needed a new big boy bike, It was just never an option due to finances.
So wasn't I surprised when I pulled into the driveway the morning before my 9th anniversary to find a new toy. Parked on an angle, with bows and everything...
A new (to me) Iron 883.
It came with all the additional items I needed, which included a jacket, boots, gloves and of course the most important part... a training course/license test (I already had the helmet).
The bike I have is a 2010 Iron, it has had the handlebars and grips replaced, along with the pegs and gas cap. It has also had a 2inch tank lift which was not done the way I want it done, so I will be removing that and starting over. All small things. I am already saving my money so I can get myself the Vance and Hines complete package which will include the exhaust, air filter and fuelpak. I am hoping to have saved enought to get all this next summer. For now I am just happy cruising around the way it is.
I look forward to meeting some new friends!
