Well finally decided to go ahead and join the thread, I've been following on and off for a year or so. Used some ideas for both bikes for modifications.
Started off with a 06 street bob purchased little over a year ago. Kept it for about 8 months and then sold it, will need to get some before and after pictures of that. Fun project during the winter months. Recently just purchased a 2011 street glide 103" power pack. After riding the touring bike, I now know what I've been missing. Loved the street bob and what I did with it but the street glide is very solid and comfortable.
Street bob with ape hangers first day I brought her home, and the last one is the day I sold her. I do miss the sound of her with the vance and hines big shots,
Currently riding a 2011 street glide 103" merlot sunglow,
mods:
Stage one with vance & hines true dual headers with bassani slip ons, power commander (screaming eagle?) screaming eagle air intake
DDM HID headlight
Klock werks 6.5" flare
Street glide shifter pegs
Pretty much it for now, looking forward to some more projects in winter but for now its fine as is.
Little easier to see the pictures, first harley I purchased. 2006 street bob, day 1 and the last day I sold her.
Winter project was changing out the bars from apes to street slammers along with stainless lines. Very fun project, took my time and enjoyed it. Did the internal wiring myself along with running the cables. First time doing a project like this on a harley and have to say I was hooked. Relocated the front turn signals from a mod somewhere in these forums. Few beers along the way and come spring time was very enjoyable to ride but was made an offer I couldn't refuse and she was sold.
