Default Did the Deal Today on a 2015 SGS

Hello, I signed the papers today on a 2015 Street Glide Special The bike won't be in till the end of next week but I am happy to be getting it right out of the crate. It won't be here in time for my trip up to Kentucky for the all Harley drags in Bowling Green but that will just give something to look forward too. First two things I gotta change are the windshield and seat. I am 5'8 with a 30 inch inseam so I want a seat that will drop me and move me back about a inch. I'm looking at the Roland Sands Boss 2 up seat and the 7 inch wind splitter windshield. I really like the look of it on the new fairings. The stock windshield is almost good enough for me just needs to be about 1" higher and I would have no buffeting.

Will do, thanks! I can't wait to get it. I have read a lot of mixed reviews on the wind splitter but I really like the way it looks plus it's taller than the stock SG shield. I'm open to suggestions on the seat. I like the look of the Roland Sands seat anybody have any feedback on it?

I have a wind splitter, it's ok but I like the 6.5 klockwerks better (less bugs on the forehead). I'm also 5'8" with the same inseam as you.

Thanks, are you using the stock seat? I will check out the Klock Werks. Is the wind splitter a improvement over the stock shield?

I have the RSD boss 2up . It's awesome.. Very awesome.... Look, feel, construction, backed by mustang. Win,win! It certainly game me more leg room, and a good seat position. Can't go wrong with any of the RSD seats..

You might want to check out the "Clear View" windshield by googling the name. I ride with one on my Limited. It looks and works well..just another option.

Congrats on your purchase. The Rushmore's are awesome.
