iPhone 6 Plus WONT FIT In Infotainment Center
I just tried putting my new iPhone 6 Plus into the infotainment center slot and it will not fit if you plug it in via USB. It has nothing to do with the cord length but rather the hard part that plugs into the phone slot. It BARELY doesn't fit. If you don't want to plug in your phone and just use it via Bluetooth it will fit. My problem is I LOVE having my phone plugged in because it charges it and also allows me to play my playlists. At this point I can't think of any ways to make it work. And for those of you wondering.....yes I removed the foam padded insert.

Here are some photos which hopefully help everyone see what I'm talking about. The only thing I can think of (this might sound crazy) is facing the iPhone in so you connect it with the bottom facing the driver (USB connecting in the front of the slot). You then drill or somehow cut two decent looking holes or slots so the power cord comes out of one slot and is exposed just a little but then plugs back into the phone through the other slot which would allow the connection to stick out past the door a little when it's closed. Hope that made sense.
On a side note....I LOVE the phone but this is eating at me because I already printed off the paper model and cut it out to make sure it fit before I made the purchase.
