Default So my problem with gear lights solved...

Mentioned in another thread last week that I lost the gear indicator lights. When it was in the shop, the also found that I lost the cruise too and it would start in gear.

After over two hours they left me go unsolved and ordered a switch pack.
Basically the whole left side switch assembly. Glad it was under warranty as it was $210 and .2 labor.
Good to go now. Despite the minor inconviences of the past month of ownership ( four trips back in 2500 miles)....I'm still loving this bike. Hope to stay away from them for a while now.

I had the same problem when they completed the latest recall. Tech said when he blew out the brake line it did something in the switch housing. All good now.

Do you mean the clutch master cylinder recall? Believe me....that was in the back of my mind. Since I assume the clutch lever switch is in there too and replacing the plunger....
who knows???? Kinda why I'm sharing the info....whether you use the lights or not....be aware that it effects other issues too.

Yes, the clutch master cylinder recall. When I took off I noticed the gear indicator, didn't even try the cruise or notice any other problems. Immediately turned around and went back. Took another half hour and all was good and has been since then.
