Default hydraulic clutch hard up shifts

yes I have had all the recalls done. I mentioned it to the dealer when I took the bike in for recall decided to wait and see how it was after recall work. I tried to convince myself that it was slightly better. The symptoms hard/stiffness up shift hits hard can feel in in your bones LoL. 3rd to 4th seems the worst. I have searched forums and Googled. I plan on taking it back to dealer as soon as I can I am looking for ideas I did not know anything about hydraulic clutch. I have service manual but working 5 12 hours in a row. I'm just trying to ease my mind of what might be wrong any ideas appreciated.

Try shifting at a little higher RPM. I have noticed a smoother shift when im at higher RPM's. When i shift at lower RPM it makes a big clunk sound.

I think it seems harder at higher Rpm. I don't lug it I run 2800, 3000 rpm. I often shift up at higher rpm.

What kind of fluids are you using?

What fluids are you running in your primary and transmission?

Mine is the softest, smoothest shifting bike I have ever ridden, but it didn't get that way until I swapped fluids.

I used to think my '11 was pretty good, I ran Amsoil SevereGear 75w110 in the transmission, and Drag Specialties Primary Fluid in the primary. When I couldn't find that any more, I went to HD Formula+, and it worked as good.

This '14 was the same for a while, with the same fluids.

At 5k, I decided to try Red Line Synthetic Primary Fluid in the primary, just because I'm a syn fan.

Hoe.

Lee.

Cow.

I wish I could let everyone experience how she shifts.

NO issues finding neutral from either 1st or 2nd, rolling or stopped, there is still a little clunk going from N to 1, but it is still a Harley, but shifting up or down from there is a barely audible click.

Really hard to explain, but damn do I love it.

These are merely my experiences, and YMMV.

I have HD formula + in the primary and redline in the transmission.

can't help but wonder if the system may have some air in it.

This run of 5 12s night shift as my mind going in circles on this. But don't worry safety man I am being safe!

Then it shouldn't be a fluid problem.

And air isn't the problem, unless I'm missing something, they are a bath.

Wanna trade?

I commute twice a day... My office is an hour and fifteen to an hour and a half from home, I do 8 12s, 5am to 5pm, then 4 days off, then 8 12s on nights, 5pm to 5am, then 4 days off then 8 12s back on days... and so on. In the oilfield, we call it an 8 and 4 hitch.

With the drive is basically ends up being 8-15s...

Today is day 8. I am so ready to go home....
