Default would you believe it,

ive had my street glide now for 4 months.
i had a faulty infotainment system within the first month, which was replaced by the dealer without any problems, or attitude.
since then, nothing.
its worked fine. starts, stops, doesnt leak oil, everything works fine n dandy.

should i write to the moco and complain that nothing has fallen off or broken?
seems ive got a good un.

I have a 14 SGS since November at about 12000 miles foot shifter came loose I tightened up came loose again Dealer replaced the shift shaft, one of the mechanics told me to keep an eye on it because he has replaced lots. I herd the same with my 09 put 65000 miles on it no problems. So just keep an eye on it.

You know it has a lot to do with what you put into it, like most everything else in life. This is just my opinion, bought the bike in June and now 10,000 miles, no issues other than the radio and recalls.
Anyway as I strated, i got my new bike home and looked it over from top to bottom, over and under. Found the tires low put air in them, found right passengers foot board bolt lose so tightened it up, I thought the drive belt was a little lose but read the owners manual and it was ok, I adjusted the things I want adjusted and checked everything I seen or could think of, there's a check list in the owners manual per service enteral. I read this forum about every thing from low tires to my radio don't work so I'll trade Fe bike it off or give my dealer a bad score in a survey. I'm just sayin its your a$$ on the line here and blaming the moco or the dealer ant going to do you or your family any good if something bad happens and you should have used good sence and checked your *****.
Ok I'm whining.

Doesn't sound like whining to me. Sounds like good, solid, what every man should do type advice.

Those that don't do as you stated, then get mad at the dealer or moco...

THAT is whining.

Uh, 1423 miles on my SG; loose shifter that I had to overtighten(made a racket at idle) clutch recall with fluid leaking after, leak on oil cooler adapter (loose plugs on top of adapter) forward spark plug wire rubbing bottom of fuel tank (put a piece of clear hose over it) and annoying rattle when going through the gears at 2600, 2800 and 3200. Have an email to dealer to when I can bring it in; no response, so Ill call tomorrow. I have had 5 HDs before with zero problems.
