The navigation still zooms all the way in the first time you touch either zoom button after starting the bike. Won't know if it fixed the several minute delay on the screen auto brightness until in the morning.

The AVC on mine defaults to 3 'bars' of 4. I change it to 4. Next time I start the bike, the setting is back to 3 again. This is the same in 1.18.1 and 1.18.2. I hear the auto-dim works now. Also, the 4 buttons on my 6.5 seem to stay lit now.

I tried a previous update using a 4G stick and it didn't work. The ISO file is small and will fit, but I think when you plug it into the bike it stores some data on the stick during the update process. Saving your settings and other random data is my guess.

Just put this newest update on the bike and all seems well. AVC holds at 4 bars. Zoom button does seem to go max if you push the + button but only on the first attempt. If you zoom out first it zooms back in one increment at a time as it shud. A minor annoyance. Will test more during the coming days.

Downloaded and installed. Checked my settings and the zoom. Had music playing from the memory stick when I turned off the bike. Waited a few seconds and turned the ignition switch on. Music started playing from the memory stick. Brought up the GPS, clicked on zoom + it zoomed in to the next level. Tomorrow I'll check it again.

This is why my next bike will be a Road King.

Unless I can order a SG or RG with an empty fairing.

That's what I would do too, if the only thing I wanted to hear was myself talk.

I have bike to bike communications with my riding buddy, so we talk all the time.

I also have Bluetooth connectivity to my smartphone for handsfree answering and dialing.

And wireless streaming full stereo music from my phone to my helmet.

And wireless voice turn-by-turn GPS navigation.

And I don't have to blast any of it through wind noise.

And, best of all, I actually do like to hear myself talk.

Has anyone with a CVO gotten the file to upload without changing the file name? I tried to change the file name as you suggested, but it's still not working.

Does anyone know if the downloads work with Mac yet? I tried PC and Mac, and neither would load.
