Default Advice on bars: LA Choppers 10" FL APE vs. WO578 CHUBBY 10"

Hi. I've spent some time searching and can't exactly find an answer. I just got a 2014 Ultra Classic. The bars are too low and the hunching over is causing back pain. I'm looking at 10" bagger apes so I don't have to change the lines. I don't need anything extreme. My last bike was an '09 Road King and the Heritage Style bars were great. I'm looking for something with rise and a comfortable pullback.

The WO578 CHUBBY® 10" BAGGER APE and
LA Chopper 10" FL APE HANGER both would fit with the stock lines. They both seem similar in shape and measurements.

Does anyone have any input on one vs. the other?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks. All the searching and I must have skipped over this one. It seems like those who have the 578s are happy with them.

I put on the LA Choppers 10" on my 2014 limited about a week ago. I wished the distance between the grips and also the angle of the grips were the same as the stock bars. As far as the height and pull back, I do like them. Pretty easy to install with the exception my left grip does not heat. I will have to take it apart sometime to trouble shoot the problem.

Thanks. It's seems like there was less info here on the LA choppers 10". I appreciate the input.

From looking at the pics, 9" would be as high as you could go and keep your hands fully behind the faring. Iv also read that the Yaffes fit the inside faring better. I have not made my mind up ether, have not found any 9" bars but leaning toward the black Yaffes.

The 578's are wider than the 10" LA bars.

Installed the LA Chopper 10" a week ago and all went well, but with a little re-routing of the wiring under the hood. I liked the LA Chopper being a little narrower so the brake and clutch lines went down the back of the bars instead of hanging mid-air as with wider bars. So many bars to pick from!

Have the LA Chopper 10" twin peaks and am thinking of going to the Wild1 WO578. The twin twin peaks are nice looking bars but not much pull back and have to reach forward for the bars. The wrist angle is more like a dirt bike I think 25 degrees The wild1s are 40 degrees and i think come back 2 more inches to set you back a little. I think the Wild1 is more like stock just 2 to 3 more inches of rise. My grips are 10" back of center of fairing straighter wrist. The Wild1 I think are 12". Here are my Twin Peaks. Good hunting.
