Default CVO Gauges

Trying to de-chrome some of the Rushmore parts. Anybody out there want to trade their stock Ultra gauges for CVO gauges. Swapped out my stock Silver faced for the CVO ones but not happy with the extra chrome. I also still have the original Silver faced gauges if anyone wants to trade for Black?

just an FYI its my understanding that if the gauges where installed and the bike was ridden 30 miles they are now married to that bike. If you install them on a different bike you will get a odometer error on the screen.

Mileage is stored in the ECM, not the speedo, right?

Correct, but the speedo/odo will read VINERR if the gauges have been on the other bike for more than 31 miles. You have to trade for some off a brand new bike (under 31 miles on it), or order brand new ones from the MoCo. If you don't care about the odometer reading VINERR constantly, then you're good to go.

That would be correct. I just bought the CVO gauges for my bike from Surdyke and installed them. They look AWESOME!
