Default Replacement windshield for '15 Limited

What have you guys done for a replacement windshield on the Rushmore Limited? The new lower cut windshield looks good, but after a few highway rides, I don't care for the function of it. I'm 5'10", and when sitting on the bike, I clearly see over the top of the windshield. My problem isn't buffeting, but rain and stuff going over the windshield and hitting me in the face. I need another 2" or so of windshield height. I'm hoping with the extra height, it won't screw up the airflow around the windshield and through the mail slot. The windshield on my '11 UC was the perfect height.

Thanks in advance for any info.

The stock ws is 10" so if 2 more inches would be good them get a 12". The mail box slot will not be affected by a taller or shorter ws.

I put the HD 12" windshield on mine and it's much better. The original was at the eye level, so I had to stretch my neck or scrunch down in the seat. The hidden benefit came when my wife noticed the difference and liked it. The mail slot still works the same as it did with the stocker.

LRS. I have an 8" that works as well as the stock 10... and a 10 that is awesome.

And with the code they sent me, VERY inexpensive!

I tried aftermarket shields. The flip up style. Other than being tinted and looking good it performed no better than stock. I went back to stock. I found it difficult to keep rain from hitting me in the face no matter what shield. Taller shields are difficult to see through in the rain. I ended up putting a half shield on my helmet. Works good.

I have the 8.5" Klockwerks Flare windshield, I really like it. I'm 6' tall, if I was any taller, I think it would be just slightly too low though. I've rode in the rain since having it, and while I do get some water in my face, it isn't like riding in the rain, it seems to do a very good job.
