Dealer flashed mine for free when I bought my '14 RK a few days ago (lightly used). Tomorrow I'm getting Turn Signal Conversion P/N 68000123A for $70 to give more visibility to the RK via my turn signals.

These are Day Maker head and passing lights with CD turn signals.

The Headlight is not on high beam, but the lights really light up the road and while it is still about an hour before dark this still gives a good look at the illumination they provide.

I will still use the high beam with the passing lights on, when out on the country roads when there is no traffic to blind.

My dealer wants to charge me $43 to do the passing light flash on a 2015 FLHTK that I bought from them 2 months ago. Harley sent me not one, but two dealer surveys. I'm thinking about showing them the two unopened envelopes and asking if they're sure that they want to charge me a 1/2 hour of labor on a 5 minute job on my brand new 30K bike? This kind of thing is the reason that none of the 4 Harleys I've owned over the past 12 years has ever seen the inside of a service department after I took delivery.

I checked my lamps on my 2015 Tri Glide at the dealer and they already stayed on with the high beam and I never even asked them, just figured it was already like that from Harley.

Good idea, better yet you should go into the service department and start filling it out. Alternatively, I had an issue called asked for GM response he is in a meeting. I told them I was a pissed off customer. After that, the flood gates opened I got whatever I wanted from them. Should have used that tactic when I bought it.
Merry Christmas

The dealer you bought the bike from really should not charge you for doing the passing lamp flash, but it seems some will if that's all you're having them do. If that's the case ask them to do the flash when your bike is already plugged in for service such as a 1,000, 5K, warranty, etc., they absolutely should not charge you then.

I hd it done with the 1000 mile service and the clutch recall at the same time. No extra charge for the light mod

I can maybe understand them charging something if you are bringing it in & it's the only service they are performing, but if it's already in there & they want to charge you, find a new dealer. I asked my dealer to make the change @ my 1k service; as I was having them do a Stage I anyway, they did it for free.
