Read every post I could trying to make a decision on my new bars. I know the 12' Yaffe bars are taller than others and seem to be just the correct height, but I really don't like the price or availability. Considering the 14" KST Mayhem Bagger bars. My question is; installed will the 14" KST be the same or very close in height to the Yaffe 12" bars? Has anyone gone with the 12" KST bars? Any help would be much appreciated.

 

I have installed the KST 10 3/4" and the cables are ok and looks good with a bit of slack. I think the cables will be tight with 14"

 

Do you have a pic of your bars? Based on the height of 10 3/4", do you think the 12" KST bars would obstruct the fairing mirrors on a SG? one of my main concerns is keeping the stock mirrors. I think the cables will be close on the 14". I think I've read that rerouted they will work with the Yaffee 12".

 

I have the KST outlaws 12" all stock lines worked. I have pic on my phone I will see if I can post it

 

Consider the LA Chopper twin peak bars. I had the same question a week or so ago.

The Yaffe and KST bars were hard to get my hands on for some reason.

The LA Chopper bars were 200 bucks and look pretty awesome.

 

I do now have it narrowed down to the KST and Twin Peak 14" for my SG. You can't go wrong with the price of the LA Chopper bars. It looks like the wrist position on the Twin Peaks doesn't have the pull back of the KST. I think I'll just flip a coin and make up my mind already. Important thing right now is getting rid of these stock bars!

Not done with the install yet but close Kst 10 3/4" meyhem bagger bars 12" you should be able to use stock mirrors.

Neither has them for a 2015 Street Glide. I called them both.
