I use one to record expenditures, part #'s, oil changes, repairs, where I got the part, etc. It's keeps a running total when I make an entry. I also enter any thing that I sell as a credit.
It's not difficult to do if you have basic Excel skill.
What kind of things do you want to track?
date/mileage/cost ?

If you are even slightly familiar with EXCEL, it will take less time to create a spreadsheet than it took to log on here, write this post, monitor replies , and download one someone sends to you.

Really? Must be boring now in Alabama, with the tide out of the championship playoff. Take the time, probably about 15 minutes, to make your own custom spreadsheet. It's the most basic thing to do in Excel.

I started with an excel spreadsheet but moved it to google docs. That way I can access it anywhere even on my phone.
I have four tabs in the sheet - summary, gas, service, and accessories. I keep track of everything from the price I paid for the bike to thing that goes into or onto the bike.
