Default "Death Wobble" with the Rushmore Models

I was wondering if the "Death Wobble" has been designed out of the Rushmore models. I understand that the wobble could be prominent in the rubber mounted drivetrain models. Enquiring minds want to know. Thanks.

Have over 17K on mine, with speeds over 90 a few times and zero wobble or unstable feel.

Mine has been rock solid. Then again, I never had a wobble with my '12 either.

10K miles in 6 months. 110 MPH indicated for a short blast. Not the faintest hint of a wobble on mine.

I believe that wobble was an issue with high speed in hard turns, a place most riders wont find themselves in on our types of bikes. The death wobble is reserved for the elite rider, or those with low levels of self preservation! lol. i always thought my 07" was steady until i bout my 14"

That's good to hear. I just traded a 2013 limited for a 2014 Ultra. Never had a problem with the 2013. I just got to thinking about it after I read an article. I'm wondering now if the rubber mount system needs age on it before it causes any problems if ever. Thanks for your responses.

I laid a bike down a few years ago. My fault. Changed my riding style. I ride more for enjoyment than an adrenalin rush. Odds are I shouldn't experience any death wobbles!

I've experienced a slight wobble on my SGS at 75 after I hit a bump one day. Not the dreaded harley wobble, more like a tank slapper speed wobble. I was on a group ride (bar to bar riding which I hate doing) with the cruse set when I hit a bump, speed wobble for a couple of seconds until I could get my hands off the bars and the bike straightened right out. Haven't had it happen since. Not fun since the guy behind me was only 10 feet back and I was bar to bar with the guy next to me. I will never ride like that again!
