HD chrome fork sliders or rechromed?
For those that have replaced the fork sliders; are you using the HD kit or an independent chromer? Also I seen that there is a person on EBAY selling polished sliders that look good.

I think the aftermarket chromers do a much better job(more detailed), I've had both. The polished ones you see on ebay will look ok for a while but you would have to polish them occasionally and they will never shine like chrome.

The fork kit from HD is more of a turn key application when compared to buying legs on exchange. The HD kit will include new seals and bushings.
But the quality of our chrome is far superior to what HD offers.
