Default First road trip on the new bike

On Sunday I managed to get to the Auto Train depot in Lorton, VA between Saturday's storms and Sunday/Monday's storms. After getting the bike locked on the trailer I settled in for a comfortable ride to FL. Left VA with temps in the high 40s, arrived in FL to mid-high 60s. I enjoyed a two hour shake down ride from Sanford (northeast of Orlando) to Tampa where I'm working all week. But my wife is flying down to head to the keys with me on Fri afternoon. We're going to do a Tampa to Key West to Daytona Beach to Orlando run, 5+ days of riding before heading back to the cold temps of northern VA.

Maybe in warmer weather we'll add the full ride from VA down but for this trip Auto Train got us past the coldest areas.

Don't forget to post a pic with you and your wife at "Southernmost Point in Continental USA". http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/11310
Thumbs up on your ride and choice of color.
Enjoy and be safe.

Welcome to FL. The auto-train is a good way to cover that drive quickly. The weather is warning up this week and should be back into the 70's by this weekend. The Gasparilla Parade is in Tampa Saturday. It's cool to see once.
