Default Looking for advice on Extended Bags and Rear fender for SGs?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had found some less expensive extended saddlebags and rear fender. Either off ebay or other sites that doesn't take 40 hrs worth of prep to paint and or look good? Thanks, Ahead

Good luck, I am a firm believer in you get what you paid for. I did the HD extended bags and CVO rear fender on my 14 FLHXS, very pleased with the results. Bad dad or Topshop is what I would of done if I hadnt gone with the HD stuff.

How long did it take to get your CVO Rear Fender? We're looking at getting our bike custom painted in the near future and while it gets painted we want to have a CVO rear to replace the stock FLHXS one we currently have. Did you also purchase it online and if so what online vendor?

Thanks

My dealer had it in stock, they were going to convert a new bike with it and they never did. Bought parts though my dealer since they hooked it up with a 25% off.

Heck of a deal - right place at the right time sort of thing. More power to you, how do you like it?

I went with Top Shop. The painter I used is finicky. He said they were really good and didn't require alot of prep. He had so many ebay bags that he had done that he wouldn't give me an estimate on painting until he was able to check the bags out lol. He gave me a ballpark and he charged me a little bit less. So, I'm assuming they were good. Like others have said, in some things, you get what you pay for.

I was going to go for top shop this year until my winter mod list ended up costing me entirely too much money, so it'll have to be next year. But so far, they're the best I've seen around for price and quality. I was planning on having their painter do the work since I can guarantee no local shop around me has done a sand camo paint job yet.
