Dash mounted mic for phone use?
#21
For what it is worth. You can use you hand held mic to talk on the phone through your Bluetooth. you just have to push and key up the mic and talk normal. To use it on the cb, you have to key it up and hit the PTT button on right handlebar. Not the safest thing, but great in an emergency.

It works fine, as if you were with the cable.
If you just need the mic do only that part.
It will be active with the PTT on rigth hand. Works for voice recognition, CB, phone

I took the mic and ear bud setup that came with the bike and cut the ear buds off and permanently mounted the mouth piece to my half helmet. Then I just curl the mouth piece up and around out of the way when not in use. This all still works fine and dandy but that cord dangling dont get it! These should of been wireless from the factory. I only hook it up if I know I will be getting an important call.
