My CVO came with the Boom speakers and amp but I recently upgraded to the Stage II system with new speakers and a second amp.

I am having issues with the system and my bike is currently as the dealer for support. The radio sounds great while parked, but isn't as clear as my original system on the road. Additionally, my speakers are cutting out momentarily at higher volumes.

I would recommend staying away from the Stage II system until Harley gets things figured out. JM Audio tested the system and noted the same problems I am witnessing. I was very satisfied with my stock system which included the 6.5 upgrade speakers and amp.

I just had a J&M ROKKER Amp n speakers installed. Because I'm in Upstate NY I dont have any miles on the system yet. It does sound great while I'm working in the garage.
I ride a 2015 Ultra Limited.

Went Boom stage 1 upgrade on RGS. 6.5 Fairing speakers, and saddlebag lids (5x7's i believe) I haven't tested on the road, but its way louder than my 13 SG with J&M Rokker 7.25 fairing speakers and 250w amp (which sounded good). I know, I know, 4 speakers vs 2, but that's just my experience :P I think I'll be satisfied with the setup.

I had the 6.5 installed and upgraded the speakers and added a second amp along with the lowers getting speakers. Sounds great now only the AVC worked again like it did on the 4.3 Id be happy...

Power Acoustiks Razor amp, Kicker CS74 speakers in the fairing, radio flashed to Amp 1 & 2 off, 8 speakers. I'm extremely pleased with it. It is very loud, crisp and clear. I constantly get compliments on how it sounds. Total cost was $192 for amp, speakers and a wiring kit from Amazon, and $47.50 for the flash. I do plan on adding a second pair of speakers to my lowers some time.

Amp:
RF PBR300X2 - Front fairing speaker pods
RF PBR300X2 - Rear rear speaker pods

Speakers:
infinity kappa 62 11i - front
Kicker 40CS674 6-3/4" - rear

Speaker Mounting:
Externally mounted, just like factory stock

Grills: Boom Left & Right

Flash Status:
No flash, factory stock, no magic box

System sound quality & loudness is night & day difference after adding amp, huge change in bass & treble & overall richness & quality. Amp gain set between 5 & 6 for best all around no distortion at full volume, no clipping...still fine tuning.
