Default Lower Bike 1 inch

I need to lower my 2014 Ultra 1 inch so I am flat footed while stopped. I am 5'10" and 220 lbs. The only two options I can think of is replacing stock air shocks with HD premium low (12") adjustable or use the Tamarack lowering kit. I have tried the HD seat that comes on the Ultra Low, its a n*% crusher. Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Default Lowering

Well I am about to fit the front and rear suspension units from the Low to my 2014 Street Glide. I have already had a reduced reach seat sculpted to lower me further and I wear Timberland pro waterproof boots with a 2" heel. At 5' 6" this is the dogs bollox of lowering as far as I am concerned.
So I guess a mix of the above would help. I hear Mean City Cycles do a good job with seats.

Mean City Cycles can modify your seat and get you up to two inches lower. Plus the seat is a lot more comfortable. They have done two seats for me.

I lowered my '14 Ultra. Used a set of Low Profile Air Ride (like on a Street Glide) bought on Ebay. Then a set of Progressive Fork Lowering Kit Pt#10-1568.
I'm 5'7" with 29 1/2" inseam. Worked great and love thw way the front end doesn't dive now.
P.S. Love the color,

I lowered mine in the rear with the Shocks. Bought some Logger boots and im going to change the bars in a few weeks. I may try the Mean City seat thing before summer, I may also try lowering the front by sliding the tubes up some. Some say dont do it but others that have tried have had no problems that I can find

he would be way ahead of the game to get rid of the air shocks and get the premium low 12 inch shock it would be killing two birds with one stone

I'm also 5'10" and 220 with a 30" inseam. Had Mean City Cycles do my seat and installed a set of 12" air shocks from a SG and I sit flat footed now on my '13 RGU. With the Mean City seat mod I probably don't even need the 12" shocks. I may go back to my OEM 13" shocks for a better ride. Haven't had a chance to ride it much since the mods due to the weather.

It lowered me a good 2", and I am now flatfooted. This is the 5th or 6th seat I have had them do on different Harleys. Supernarrow mod with memory foam. Can't go wrong for $130..........
