Default Cracked lens on my Daymaker

What now? Caught a rock or something. Glad the light caught it and not my pretty face but Not looking forward to a $500 replacement. The light still works but moisture gets in and builds up quickly.

Wow - sorry this happened to you.

When I rode Wings, I had a headlight guard to avoid such incidents. I may have to look at this for my Harley.

Anyone here tried the headlight guards?

My insurance covers glass breakage - no deductible. Might be worth checking?

Sorry about the broken lens-but your right--better that then in the face---That really sucks.
I had the front of my bike covered with Xpel the clear film to protect the paint from road CHIPS and on the headlight and driving lights they placed a thicker verson of it to keep this type of thing from happening. Hope I never get to find out if it really works and protects from big rocks.-
Good luck on getting it fixed.

Hopefully you saved the stock one. I saved mine for this reason as well as putting it back on down the road if/when I sell or trade it in. If insurance doesn't cover it maybe consider the JW speaker? It's essentially the same light and considerably cheaper.

https://www.getflexseal.com/

If it fixed the boat with the screen door for a bottom, it should take care of that light with ease.

Jw speaker evo2 is the same light but newer model. They redesigned the gaps so that there's no blind spots. I just picked on up for 320.

That is definitely something I will check on! Didn't even think about that.
