They are still in business. They have a variety of lifts available at varying price levels. The shops I talk to say they're the way to go.

I wish I had the space for one.

I just bought mine this winter/spring and the dealer included the first service.

You could always park your bike on it...... no extra room needed.

It will pay for itself.

In the winter I need the room to park my truck and wife's car also. J&S jack is the option I'm going with.

I bought a J&S before the lift and still use it. They are well made and worth every penny, Good choice.

I prefer doing the maintenance myself too, shops get in to much of a hurry, i let dealer do first service, then when I did the 5,000 mile service noticed alot of shavings in the transmission oil, after changing it myself oils been much cleaner ever since and im now at 21,000 miles, I noticed if u stand the bike up right u get more oil out than on the jiffystand that may have been why the shavings were still their after the first service. having ur own lift is a plus i use my dads handy lift, but its not necessary for changin fluids, last time i used it was to replace the rear tire.

Same here. First one to get it on the books, and I'll do the rest unless its to big a job.

I have a table lift (with side extensions) AND a jack. Both are indispenable for me. The table lift gets entire bike up where I can reach things easily and jack gets the wheels off the ground for cleaning or other maintenance. I will actually put bike on the table lift and then put jack under bike while its still on the lift. Best of both worlds. Ssince I have the side extensions, I can actually ride the bike up on the table lift and then put it on the kickstand or in the chock.

I also use the table lfit for my ATV's and lawnmowers. It is the best tool in my shop.

Mine is a chinese copy of a handy lift (Panther lifts). Air only.

I just did the 1000 mile today. Way easier than my old Dyna, thanks to hydraulic clutch and throttle-by-wire, no cables to adjust. Bike already feels better taking off from a stop. I have a feeling it didn't have the correct amount of oil in the primary from the factory.
