The deed is done!
Posted a few threads on my thoughts and search for a new bike over the past few weeks. If bored, you can read my dealer dilemma here https://www.hdforums.com/forum/gener...e-related.html
Anyway, I traded my 2012 Ultra Classic in black for a 2015 in Amber Whiskey\Charcoal just this past weekend! Wow, all I can say is that I didn't think the Ultra's could get any better and this thing just blows me away. The refined looks, handling, new bags etc. etc. are even better than I imagined.
I wound up going with the 6.5 infotainment when offered a deal I couldn't refuse on it. Glad I did as now that I've played with it, the built in nav is nice to have. I also didn't realize until owning this thing how many changes had actually been done. Seems like better quality over all on this bike from the bullet turn signals to the tour pak mount, controls, finish etc. etc. To me at least this is how a 25K plus motorcycle should be built and look. Not that I didn't love my 2012, but this is a step up, a big one, in a lot of different ways.
Anyway, like they always say, this thread is useless without pics. Here are a few from the phone quickly shot after a ride. Need some time when I'm not riding to get out the real camera and take a few more!

Thanks. Honestly, I didn't think I'd notice a difference in performance, but it does seem more responsive across the band than my 2012 did. Sounds stupid, but the bike overall feels closer to a hot rod\sport bike than any tourer I've ever ridden, LOL. I think it's the combo of the engine, lower profile windshield, and yeah, the new gauge layout. Almost gives it a "sporty" feel. Can't quite put into words what I'm talking about, but I've never ridden a bike of this size that felt so nimble; for lack of a better term.
