Default Wanting to hang it up

Version 1.18.3

If I make a call, there is an option in the upper left corner to select or push the joystick to the left to end the call.

If I get a call, there is nothing in the left corner and I have to wait for the other party to hang up. Normally it's not a problem unless (like me) you have friends that just put their phone back in their pocket and assume you will hang up.

So there you are riding along listening to your buddy going about his day and nothing you can do.

Anyone else have this issue?

Sorry. No answer here, dont take or make calls on the bike. Thats why I ride, to get away from it. Is an interesting situation though.

Never had this happen, but there is a way out - use the voice recognition command to start a new phone call & the previous (current?) call will end.

There is new version of software just came out today hopefully that help never have that issue with our 2 bikes and yes we accept phone calls all the time because I run my own business even on vacation I can't disconnect and wife is in health care business and 1st week of every month she is on call, we love to ride our bikes and the Infotainment system is one of the reason to trade our totally souped up bikes to the new 2015 Limiteds.

I thought it was just me.

What I do is push in the left JS to go "Home", then use right joystick to go to com>phone>calls to initiate a new call, usually the person I just called, then hit the end.

PITA, yes. But it works.

Hopefully the new software will take care of it but if not, I'll go this route.

Ahhhh the pain all this new technology causes us. Wish we could just go back to the good ole days with rotary dial phones and maybe the beeper type pager for the important people who have to be contacted in an emergency. How did we ever get along without cell phones?

We have officially entered the 21st century when a thread titled "Wanna Hang It Up" is about hanging up a phone as opposed to deciding to quit riding
