It all sounds like a addiction but I suppose no diff than AAA or Gambling we all have our vice.
To be honest I was the biggest na sayer of the 15 RG when it finally came down to a design but too support this big of mill and get max speed the research didn't lie.
Last year I bought a /Gushmore Street Glide and kept it 4 weeks and sold it I hated it the touch screen the progressive shocks waiting til I could feel my hir turn grey for the legal crap to agree to on the 6.6 the special had.
Now seeing two diff companys test it the Road Glide would be diff for me I just didn't want one with all the crap on it . The standard comes with a 4.6 screen don't really care plan on listening to sweeter tunes FM143.
The special also comes with air shocks and not the progressives cost less than some ST models and is the base line for pushing the limit.
owning two outlaw Road Glides it became can I make this 15 run faster and lay down better numbers. My 08 RG with a Star Racing B-2 worked T124 and Procharger broke the 200 hp club its first year , the other a 08 RG with a 120RX engine holds in at a buck fourty nine.
I rode the stock 15 last night has I wait for Tman Chain drive kit, and Barnet lock up clutch the bike seems nibble still hate the cheap joy stick control ***** and and a few other Gushmore items but with a beefer chassis and a reworked T143 I think I can finally quit getting kicked out of and into the outlaw class with this bike.
Below the two RG's I built from scratch and dent trade ins and repowered them and paint. problem is now a used pre 13 RG is selling for 15-16k the 15 RG standard 20,500 out the door we shall see.
For those wondering about the T-143 I bought the whole package which includes intake, 70mm Throttle Hog, PV5, Racetronic injectors, oil line kit and yes the drill and jig kit to tap the trans for oil feed to the engine. The bonzelli 2into 1 exhust for the B-3 heads total with dealer pricing 12,800.
My Dad once told me has I worked in his bike shop Speed cost money son how fast ya wanna go......
