My buttons won't illuminate. I go to Setup / Display/ Buttons. Bring the bar to bright. Buttons are illuminated, touch exit, back to Radio, buttons are dark. They are dark in Media mode. Read the manual and I am doing the adjustment correctly. What's your take?

 

Are you running the latest version of the software? I had a similar issue with one of the releases prior to 1.19.0. Although I will say when I would go in and adjust the brightness of the buttons they would then stay on.

1.19.0 has definitely resolved the problem for me - they now come on and stay on as you'd expect.

 

Maybe your ambient light sensor is sensing that it is not dark enough yet for them to come on, similar to switching to night mode colors automatically.

You can set the brightness, but may need to be in the dark for them to turn on after you hit exit and return to the radio features.

Are you in the dark?

Dumb question, but we have to start somewhere....

Not a new update, still the same one. It looks like a 1 but it is really a |. They are using the line as a divider.
