Default Motolights installed

Attachment 439306I have installed a set of chrome motolights with high power led. I contemplated to install the HD crash bar Fog lights, but I thought the installation is bit clumsy so for few dollars more I went with caliper install. The installation is much cleaner and relatively easy to install. The only parts I got from HD to do the installation was the dash switch $16 and a cable 69200722 $23 that I had to relocate a pin in order to work with the dash switch.

Looks good. Can you get some pics at night with the lights on?? Do you see much difference riding in darkness??

I was looking at these a few weeks ago, but didn't pull the trigger yet. I'm looking for lights to fill in the sharp cut off in the LED headlights when going around corners - I'm curious specifically if these have a more circular beam pattern that fills in those holes?

These lights are driving lights, so the lighting patern is round and unlike some other LED like Custom Dynamics cool magic they have a 10* angle vs 30* and light is wide spread. As far as comparing them with the HD fog lights the motolight projection is by far much longer and not just a flat horizontal line

10 degrees is pretty narrow, which is one of the main reasons I didn't think they will do what I want. Any chance of you taking some pics of the beam pattern and compare to stock? Maybe up against a building or something so it will show the height of the circular pattern?

If you want wider pattern you can easily replace the these LED with Custom Dynamics cool magic. I think they are wider but shorter on distance.
