I just noticed that the narrow profile primary cover, previously fitted only on low models for 2015 is now standard equipment for all touring and trike models for 2016.

 

Interesting....

 

Don't like the low profile.

 

I have the narrow cover, makes footing easier at stops or backing into a parking space.

 

I already have it, but that works for me if I ever buy a newer bike.

 

Interesting, would help with my center stand.

 

Been giving some thought to putting this set up on my 14 Limited. Are all the primary internals the same between the low and the regular ? Direct bolt on with just primary and derby covers?

 

With the low profile, you have to use the derby covers that fit it. They are not swappable. The low profile derby covers are also "low profile". I imagine more companies will start making them now if HD makes them standard.

 

If it's now standard, that won't be an issue.

 

Kinda like the the looks of the big bulky one on my '15, but the narrow one has its advantages too.
