So coming from Italian fantistico: how do you compate the best Italian bike to the American Harley Davidson ultra Limited?

My Ducati was a Multistrada Gran Tourismo adventure tourer. 160 hp beast. Thin, light and full of electronic wizardry. Best suspension on any vehicle I have ever been in or on. Begs to be ridden on the edge. My only rub was no cruise control but that has been added on newer models. It is one I will definitely consider again some day.
The book is still out on the Limited. I need more saddle time to evaluate. It is definitely an improvement from my my 2005. Wife says she wants to ride again so this is my chariot. I was going with an Indian Roadmaster but the limited was the choice after serious analysis. We shall see how it goes.
