The HD accessory catalog only has 1 set of heated grips listed for the 2016 Road Glide Ultra. They show as backwards compatible with earlier touring bikes.

Why don't the other heated grips for touring line bikes show as compatible with the 2016 Road Glide Ultra?

Is it because they raised the bar height by 2 inches on the Ultra?

I seem to remember having plenty of extra wire length when I installed heated grips on my '13 Street Glide.

 

I think it might have something to do with if they are wired inside or outside the bars.

 

fitment has been wrong many times and sometimes only require a minor mod to work. one way to find out. Mike
