Default Clutch System Warranty Extension

Don't see anything posted here about this and if it's old news I apologize but I just got a letter from the MOCO saying they acknowledge problems with the hydraulic clutches and are extending the factory limited warranty on the "hydraulic clutch engagement system" for an additional 2 years to 4 total for the system. They said they are working to correct the issues...good news for us Rushmore owners and way to go Harley Davidson!

Received my letter today also. That is one less thing to worry about, although I never noticed a problem with mine before or after the recall work was done. Love the bike.

Got my letter today too. Kinda nice since my warranty did expire a couple weeks ago. I feel they should have extended coverage to the whole bike though. The clutch not engaging properly can cause problems in other areas

Just a general letter with the heading "Dear Owner", mentions the recalls on "certain 2014 and 2015 motorcycles, says their records indicate I own one and so on. No VIN number on my letter.

Haven't received one either.

I did have my '15 in for the last clutch recall.
But to be honest, I wasn't experiencing any issues at all.

My clutch has always worked just fine, before and after the recall work.

Sounds to me like the MOCO still isn't confident that they've figured out the actual problem with these things. I fixed mine by pumping about a quart of synthetic brake fluid through it.

Two and a half months and about 3500 miles with no more problems. Can sit for 10 days and still works perfectly the first time. Fingers crossed.
