corbin on sgs
I bought the corbin hollywood solo online. I took my time to figure out how the goofy site worked and had not trouble. It was a rough week or two riding until one day it was broke in and felt great. I got it in the bomber jacket leather to go with the amber whiskey paint. My minor complaint is is seems the leather is wearing already, especially the piping around the border of the seating area. I use mink oil on it, but it is parked out in the sun all day. Won't fit in the garage with all the crap in there. My major problem is is angles me back, which makes my 10 inch bagger apes a bit of a stretch. No hot spots.

For the Corbin lovers or haters, lol - I just posted a very heavy picture Post on my ride in appointment yesterday - I had so many pictures that this forum required me to do it in a two part post... go find "Day at the Corbin factory" then find part 2.
It has been said somewhere here that Corbin is offering a softer seat???? simple answer - No - just their normal 'Closed cell' Foam and if the seat fits YOU - it is a great foam - My last corbin was 10 years old and looked great - we actually took it to Hollister yesterday (wife followed in her car - had to bring back our old seat anyway) we wanted our new seat built like our old seat - Wife likes what she likes, lol... While at the factory - ended up selling that seat to a wife of a guy in for his saddle.... She was delighted and we were able to sell it without having to ship it anywhere - win/win...
if you go to my post... be sure to read the part one first or part two will not make any sense....

I am another die hard Corbin fan. I bought mine about 4 months ago and have put roughly 7K miles on it with the wif. Comfortable beyond belief. Don't be afraid of firm. If you look at any good quality bicycle saddle, horse saddle etc, you'll see that they are all "rock hard" looking as well, it's how the saddle conforms to your backside that is where the comfort comes from. Softer seats are good, but over time it mashes down enough to where you're feeling every bump.
Here's mine with the backrest and tourpak back rest.

I have a Corbin Dual Tour, backrest, and tourpack pad.
LOVE it.
Called the factory, was going to order custom piping, the guy on the phone offered me a discount if I ordered the set he had on the shelf... and would have it to me in 3 days, versus a month for the custom.
I'm glad I did. Looks great, and comfy as hell.
