Default OEM Heated Grip Install - 14 Ultra Classic

For those of you that have installed the OEM (black rubber) heated grip kit like those on the LTD, did you find it necessary to remove the bars or leave them in place? Due to other projects the outer fairing, windscreen, front wheel and forks are already off the bike.

The biggest PITA is getting the TBW unplugged so you can pull the guts out.
If you can find it behind the faring then your the man!

The wiring for the right hand heated grip is already there. It is part of the TGS, so no need to pull wires for the right side.

I have heard the wiring connection under the fairing can be a bit difficult to find. Does anyone have detail on where it is located or better yet a pic?

Is it the one that looks folded over with a zip tie holding it in place?
