Default Boom 1 vs. Boom 2

I had the full Boom 1 audio system installed when I bought my SGS and am extremely happy with it. Question I have is, would I hear any added improvement if I upgraded to Boom 2?

Please no recommendations on after market, not interested.

Boom II is a speaker upgrade and the radio has to be reprogrammed so the front and rear channels are being driven correctly because it routes all amplifier power to two speakers. Four speakers requires two amplifiers. The difference is noticeable but it was not enough to convince me to buy stage II when I purchased the amplifier and speakers.

Default Sooooo?

So in your opinion it isn't enough of an improvement to justify the added expense?

Not for the money. Don't get me wrong it is noticeably superior but I did not think it was worth the extra few hundred over the stage I speakers and amplifier. The big difference was having an amplifier.

Like I said, I'm extremely happy with the stage 1, it sounds awesome. I'll save my money for more chrome.

Stage one is more clear and Boom ll has more base but not worth the upgrade .

personally I was impressed with the Boom 1 on my '14 SGS when I upgrade the windshield to something taller. I went with Klockwerks 6.5 and it made a night and day difference with the sound quality at speed. I've heard the boom II at the local HD dealer vs a boom I right next to it and could only hear a minor difference with bass. Not work the 700+ upgrade in my opinion.

Curious why you would not consider aftermarket. I always wonder why someone would limit their options when I read this regarding audio? Is it fear of warranty issues.

I've heard both Boom I and II and neither was impressive. My thoughts if your sticking with those two options only, I'm with the rest of the folks here...it's not worth the price tag.
