Default oil temp gauge on 2014 limited

has anyone installed a oil temp gauge and if so where did you mount it. it looks like the perfect place would be to the left of the infotainment screen but i'm not sure how much open area in that spot is available. i had one on my 07 ultra and noticed that there is a plug in the pan to mount the sensor on the 14. what brand was installed and how difficult was the wiring. i know that water temp is important as well but i'm a firm believer that monitoring the oil temp in the hot florida climate is well justified........just getting a feel for the gauge location .......thanks

If you are referring to the left side of the screen, the CB is mounted behind that cover.

Nobody has ever had an oil temp problem until they install an oil temp gauge.

Just sayin'

I have yet to see no more than 230 all summer here in Michigan.
Seen several threads on high 200's low 300's. I think people have to remember these are "air cooled" machines so you cant lolly gag around idling all day.
Your right about having the gauge, some people go nuts watching it.

I would tend to agree with that statement.

You can also get a oil pressure gauge that mounts to the rocker box and change it out for a temp gauge.
