Default Goodbye FLHTCU Hello FLTRU

Well I traded my 2010 Ultra Classic for a 2016 Road Glide Ultra yesterday. Loving all the changes over the last 6 years - mostly the 103 and the front end. I had the dealer install the CB and I installed a few items from the old bike.
The lack of weight on the steering really makes slow speed turns easy. I've been reading the Boom Box manual tonight and my head hurts. It's easier to just go through everything while sitting on the bike. The Monster Ovals from the 2010 will go on this week along with the intake & FP3 coming from FuelMoto.
No pics yet - Vivid Black.

You will enjoy the transition. I just recently purchased a 2016 RGU as well. It is a very nice bike, ride safe.

I've had my RGU for 2 weeks, and I don't think I could go back to a Batwing.

I had the CB installed in mine too. I have the exact same bike. I really like the way it handles and runs.

SFS
How much did the CB cost, if you don't mind my asking?

It's ~ $500 for the module/switchpack/antenna + 2hrs. My dealer split the cost with me.

Not bad. The CB for a Goldwing will cost you 800 plus installation if you are not the type to do it yourself.

My last three bikes were batwings. I traded my 14 limited for a 16 RGU. Way nice bike for sure. I haven't been this excited for a new bike when I got the last 4. It would take a miracle for me to go to a bat wing from here on out unless something is drastically changed.
