You are correct. I did install a set of Wood's, but they were removed at ~200 miles due to one or more becoming somewhat noisy and seemingly defective and were sent to Mr. Wood for inspection and repair/replacement of the noisy unit(s).

I don't think I'll be putting them back in the bike.

 

Yeah, I found that page with no trouble. It seems to be VERY rudimentary and there's no online ordering info. It could be that my antiquated computer with Wind. XP is too crappy to display everything, too.

I assume that there are online dealers out there that sell Headquarters parts, but I haven't found any.

I'll just call them and order that way if I decide to go with the Black Ops parts. Not really a big fan of giving out my CC# over the phone to a person and company I don't know, though. I seldom, if ever, buy anything that way any more and always buy from companies that accept PayPal or have a secure website-page at the very least.

If you click on the home button it takes you to a menu with contact information. From what I can see you have to phone in your order.

 

I did see that. Don't know if I'll be doing that or not - yet.

 

At $40.00 each they are a good value compared to Woods or S&S assuming the quality is comparable.

 

I've seen several good reports about them on the web. All I'm interested in is the quietest valve train I can get with the otherwise-stock motor.

Seemed simple enough - hasn't turned out that way at all!
