For those of you that have a Big Sucker on your Rushmore that uses the stock cover, does it stick out farther than the stock configuration? If so can you tell how much?

 

Near as I can tell it is around 1/2"

 

'Bout a half inch is right. Someone (Vernal?) put up a pic once with a tape measure showing the difference.

One warning...

I had one but sold it. The intake noise from that open backing plate was as loud as the exhaust.

 

I just installed mine and I'd say about 1/2" is correct

 

Had mine installed and didn't notice any diff. Good product. Would do it again.

 

Maybe a 1/2 inch...no more for sure and truly not enough to really notice, for me
