Default Faulty CD Fillerz removal

As the title says. Whats the best, least damaging way to remove a faulty fillerz led?

Are they double stick taped? If so use a heat gun carefully, and maybe some dental floss if you can get to it.

Heat gun, and if you get the gap to open up spray some WD-40 in there.

I agree the heat gun is the way to go plus fishing line.Dental floss breaks to easy. Not going to hurt the chrome underneath.

Mine acted up last year and CD sent me a module to add to the harness to fix them. They had a bad batch that the brake lights would fail. Mine has worked fine every since.

Didn't need to remove them after all. Some wires in the pin connectors were put in the wrong holes. So they wouldn't match up with the functions on the instruction diagram.
Swapped them after the tech guy emailed me a color matching diagram.
WOW, are these things bright!!!!

Im glad you got it figured out. I love mine. They definitely get noticed during the day, and at night the cars stay way back.
