Default Street Glide cvo seat

Is the CVO Street Glide seat lower or narrower than the stock Street Glide seat?

I didn't measure the two, but, the CVO seat does feel lower and more narrow. I just sat on one 2 days ago. Definitely felt more comfortable with that gel center.

The CVO seat is a tad lower and maybe a bit narrower at the front, but it moves me back slightly. For longer trips I put the stock seat back on.

Yes it is narrower. I can see the rub marks from stock seat on the side panel covers.

Cvo Street Glide seat is a two piece seat, you can remove the passenger section and use it as a solo seat if you wanted. Non cvo street glide seat is one piece. Not sure if its lower or wider, feels close when I sat on a Streetglide special.

Thanks for the replies. I am getting the front lowered with the HD premium and an extra 1/2 inch or so would also be nice to get my feet firmly on the ground. Also just need a solo seat as the wife has her own ride. Looking at Mustang and Corbin as well.

Is the CVO seat not as comfortable as the stock seat on long rides?

This, I would like to know as well. As brief as my experience was with it, it seemed to be extremely comfortable.

I find the stock seat has a bit more padding and puts me a little closer to the bars,I'm short,5"5" on a tall day.Don't get me wrong, the CVO seat is comfortable.I've had some 1000km days with no problem.
