Wind Deflection

Rushmore Road Glides don't have this issue. They have a slight updraft stock but not enough to make my eyes water. I ride with regular prescription glasses without issue. Having come from a bike that scrambled my eyes with a windshield maybe i have lower expectations. I liken my ride to riding with the windows down in my cage. Totally calm air behind a fairing is not a reality if you ask me. Awesome looking bike to the OP.

I'm not sure how exactly a Street Glide or Ultra fairing attaches because I really haven't looked that close at them. I put the fairing on my Road King and I had exactly the same issues. Like was mentioned the fangs are ugly as hell so I built my own out of aluminum sheet and 1" aluminum flatbar for the brackets. I also built the deflector between the forks. Like I said I'm not sure how your bike's fairings are attached but mine had a removable windshield so I took the bolts out that hold the rubber isolator and used those holes to mount my brackets. Everything's been sanded and painted black the same as the bike so it's not something that screams out at you "Hey look how butt *** ugly I am!" Unfortunately I don't have pictures of it but if anyone requests one I will be more than happy to oblige. I made accommodation so they would clear my lowers.

I just added the triple tree deflector a few weeks ago. It doesn't get rid of it all, but let's face it, it's a motorcycle. I do think it reduces it, and it is not as turbulent. I'll have to log a few hundred more miles before I really decide. Even if it's not a huge improvement, it is inexpensive and pretty stealthy.
